Becky Liberato, of Dallas Texas, passed away peacefully on May 19th 2019. The Rosary will be held at 6pm Thursday May 30th at St. Paul the Apostle church in the chapel. A liturgy of the word will be held at 10am Friday May 31st 2019 at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Richardson Texas. Followed by a gathering in the reception hall. She will be laid to rest Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas Texas at 3pm on May 31st 2019. All who wish to attend are invited. Becky was born in Dallas Texas to Oneita and Doyce Yarbrough on December 23rd 1947. She graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas Texas. She married Sam Liberato on January 3rd 1970. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and mentor to not only her children but the children of her siblings, friends and neighbors. As well as a member of and troop leader for the Girls Scouts of America, having awarded every merit badge available. An avid fossil hunter, she had a keen eye and collected many pristine specimens. Several of her finds have been published in paleontology journals and one specimen being placed on display at the Dallas Museum of Natural History. She had many friends in the amateur paleontology community and participated in several projects to prepare specimens for display. She had a passion for the written word and enjoyed solving puzzles and playing games. Becky also enjoyed collecting and archiving all manner of items, from music to pop culture memorabilia. She loved to cook for parties and gatherings, known for her lemon bars, deviled eggs, and potato salad. Becky is preceded in death by her mother Oneita Yarbrough, father Doyce Yarbrough and her sister Debbie Murphree. Becky is survived by her husband and best friend Sam Liberato. Her children Roddi Anne Schoneberg, Eddie and David Liberato. As well as, her grandchildren, Rebecca Lassiter, Gabriel Lassiter, Rosie Schoneberg and Klarke Liberato. Pallbearers will be: Eddie and David Liberato, Gabriel Lassiter, Grace Lassiter, Tripp Yarbrough and Eric Murphree

Becky was a remarkable woman. She was a wonderful friend to me and my daughter Brigit. I have too many wonderful memories to pick just one.
