Benito Rojas Jr. was born on June 3, 1948, and passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 72. He was born in Marlin, Texas, but resided in Dallas all of his life. He retired from Raytheon after 33 years of service. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, caring, and hardworking person.
Preceded in death by his son, Vincent Rojas; parents, Benito Rojas Sr. and Visenta Rojas; brother, Ruben Rojas; sisters, Alice Rios, Mary Linda Mendoza, and Isabell Chico.
Survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosa Rojas; sons, Fred Rojas and wife Yvonne, David Rojas, Christopher Paredes and wife Andrea, Nicholas Rojas and wife Tori; daughters, Matilda Rios and husband Salvador, Sandra Paredes and husband Joseph Williams; brother, Raymond Rojas; sisters, Amelia Lopez, Yolanda Martinez, Dolores Nelson, and Carmen Garcia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was involved in coaching youth soccer for many years. He loved listening to Tejano music, dancing, and always enjoyed making everyone laugh. He was a big fan of the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
A visitation for Benito will be held Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Casa Gauanajuato, 1002 W. Brooklyn, Dallas, TX 75208. A mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM at St. Cecilia, 1809 W Davis St, Dallas, TX 75208. A committal service will occur Monday, November 2, 2020 at 3:30 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
