Benjamin was born July 3, 1928 at Fort Hancock, Texas to Benjamin and Manuela Sanchez. He leaves his wife of 67 years, Socorro (Urrutia) Sanchez; his sons Benjamin, Jose Alferdo, & Valentin Sanchez; his daughters Maria Elena Lopez, Elvia Medrano, Alicia Gomez, Graciela Arroyo & Edna Hernandez. Departed sons and daughter Gustavo, Aldo Sanchez & Maria Reyna S. Carrillo. He was one of eleven kids. Benjamin worked with heavy machinery in the fields the majority of his life. Due to the death of his father, he had to work at an early age. Benjamin was an outdoorsman and a gun enthusiast who lived the American spirit. He also loved spending time with his family, and he will truly be missed by all his love ones dearly.
Benjamin Sanchez is survived by his wife, 8 children, 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 brother.
