Benjamin Francis Turk, Jr., affectionately known as “Izzy", was born to the parentage of Benjamin F. Turk, Sr. and Minnie E. Thompson on January 26th, 1961 in Sikeston, Missouri. Benjamin spent his early years living in Sikeston and Chicago, Illinois, graduating high school from Lane Technical College Prep in Chicago in 1979. After graduating from high school, Benjamin Relocated to Seattle, Washington, where he received his baccalaureate degree in finance from Seattle Pacific University in 1983. Following graduation, Benjamin began working for Washington Mutual Bank in Seattle and later with JPMorgan Chase Bank in Dallas, Texas, as Vice President of Credit Administration, where he remained until his death. Benjamin married Dianne M. Ward in 1983 and to this union one daughter, Britney Naomi Turk was born.
Benjamin was a loving and devoted husband, father and family man who garnered his strength through his faith in the Lord. He also had a strong desire to uplift and encourage others around him. Benjamin devoted an inordinate amount of energy to his church community and served on numerous non-profit boards. Benjamin, an avid sports enthusiast and athlete, excelled both in his profession and on the playing field.

Ward (Joseph), Seattle, WA; Rosie Lee Wade, Kansas, MO; Elizabeth Martin (Jimmie), Robbins, IL; Marybell Jimerson, Sikeston, MO; and one great-aunt Evelyn Ford, Chicago, IL; 2 uncles, Robert Thompson, Sr., Matteson, IL; and James Turk (Carolyn), Sikeston, MO; and many cousins, relatives and friends.
