A Life of Quiet Strength, Deep Love, and Lasting Legacy
With deep love and heartfelt remembrance, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Ms. Sue Harrison, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the age of 94. She left this world surrounded by the warmth and love of her devoted family.
Known to all as “Ms. Sue,” she was a woman of grit, grace, and authenticity. Born on Valentine’s Day in 1931, she carried the heart of that day with her always—loving fiercely, giving generously, and making everyone feel welcome. Whether through her no-nonsense wisdom, her sly sense of humor, or her quiet presence during life’s ups and downs, Ms. Sue made an impact that will be felt for generations.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (JJ) Scott and Susan Routh, both of whom carry forward her strength, resilience, and unwavering love. Ms. Sue was a proud mother-in-law to the late Terry Routh, and a deeply loving grandmother to Trisha Stetzel and her husband Dennis Stetzel, and to Eric Routh.
Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Tye Stetzel, Elle Routh, Kannon Keesler, and Madilyn Keesler—each one a source of joy and pride in her later years.
Ms. Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Edward “Ned” Harrison; her granddaughter, Kristi Keesler; and her sisters, Tillie Johnson, Helen Ferguson, and Silvia Wilson—all of whom she loved deeply and carried in her heart throughout her life.
She was a bit of a spitfire—sharp, witty, and always ready with a laugh. She brought joy to every room she entered and had a special way of lifting others up just by being herself. Whether sharing stories around the table or cracking jokes in the middle of an ordinary day, Ms. Sue’s presence was a gift we all cherished.
Though she is no longer with us, Ms. Sue’s spirit lives on in every family gathering, every shared laugh, and every joyful moment that reminds us of her love.
