Bernabe Hernandez Gonzalez of Dallas, Texas was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was the son of Jose Gonzalez and Maria Hernandez Gonzalez. Bernabe passed away on May 28, 2016 in his home, surrounded by his loved ones.
Bernabe was a restaurateur the majority of his life. His pride and joy was the Guadalajara Restaurant on Ross Avenue. IN his spare time, he loved to fish, read, and travel.
Bernabe is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Marie Gonzalez, his son Xavier Gonzalez, and his grandson Ethan Vasquez. He is survived by his children Cindy, Bernabe Jr., Sandy Ann, and Soledad; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, his siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Grove Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 5-7PM, with a funeral service to celebrate Bernabe’s life beginning at 7PM.
