Bernadette Guerra, age 78, passed away on August 30th, 2025 in Keene, Texas. She was born on December 27th, 1946 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Johnnie and Maria Ortiz. Bernadette was raised in Albuquerque New Mexico.
She married Jose Guerra in 1969 and the couple had 7 children. In her spare time Bernadette enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren , and yelling at the television when the cowboys were playing.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a woman of great strength she gave her love freely and helped everyone she could.
She is preceded in death by: Her husband, Jose Guerra and 2 sons John Renteria and Gene Renteria. She is survived by her children: Therese Louis, Paula Renteria, Felipe Guerra, Eric Guerra and Damian Guerra; twenty-seven grandchildren and forty-seven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
