Brother Berry Allen was born November 2, 1923 to the parent of Jim Allen and Pinkie Willis Allen. He found Christ at an early age and united with Rhode Island Baptist Church in Fairfield. In 1952 he moved to Dallas, TX and united with Full Gospel Pentecostal Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Harold Smith. For over forty years he was a faithful member of the Eagles Rest and the Potters House Church. He served until his health declined. He worked for Ben Franklin and Roadway for many years until his retirement. He attended Dogen Public School. In 1947 he met and married Lillian Keeton and to this union two children were born. He was a devoted husband for 69 years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, four brothers and three sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Lillian Allen of Dallas, TX; two sons Luther Allen (Dorothy) of Dallas, TX: Andrew Allen (Iris) Duncanville, TX; one grandson Marcus Allen (Fran) of Dallas, TX and two great grandchildren De’Landra and Noah Allen of Dallas, TX; one sister Laura Keaton Woodward of Desoto, TX and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
