On May 6, 2023, Bertha L. Quevedo entered eternal rest in Arlington, Tx. She was born on November 11, 1933, in Mount Pleasant, Tx to Lester and Rosie Spencer. Her beautiful soul will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Bertha was a legal secretary for several years, was president of The American Business Women’s Association for the Telstar Chapter in Dallas. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking, and ceramics as well as a deep interest in genealogy. Bertha gave a lot of herself to others, which made her the perfect individual to be a caregiver, which she did for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe A. Quevedo Jr, her parents; daughter, Sandra Quevedo; brothers, Virgil Spencer and Johnny Spencer; sisters, Dorothy Dunlap, Betty Joe Pruitt and Patsy Alexander; brothers-in-law, Sonny Dunlap, Gordon Folkmann, Bill Pruitt, and Bill Alexander. Those who continue to cherish her memory are daughter, Susan K. Quevedo and husband Kevin Kreneck; sons, Steven K. Quevedo, Sean K. Quevedo and wife, Cindy Quevedo, and son-in-law, Dave Schubert; brother, Bill Spencer; and sister, Bonnie Folkmann; sisters in law, Betty Ann Spencer, Charlotte Spencer and Sandy Spencer; grandchildren, Chris Radillo and Blake Gartrell; great grandchildren, Jacqueline Radillo, Samuel Radillo and Giselle Radillo and grand daughter-in-law, Maddie Radillo, as well as other extended family. A Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on Friday May 12, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be at Calvary Hill on Saturday May 13, 2023, at 10:00 am. Interment to follow.
