Bertrand "Bert" Lloyd Ehrmann, Jr. of Dallas passed peacefully away at home on June 16th surrounded by his loving family. He was 98 years old. Bert was born in Oakland, California on July 2, 1926 to Bertrand Lloyd Sr. and Florence Ann Ehrmann. Bert loved the Lord and was a faithful servant, leader, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He served in WWII, in the Navy, as a Radioman Second Class from 1944 to 1946. After his military service, he graduated from the University of Nebraska and then had a fifty year career as an insurance professional. In 1950 he married Marilyn Joan Zolot and they had two children, Jeffrey Kent Ehrmann and Dana ("Sheli" Michele Lindsay. After Marilyn's ("Josie") passing in 2004, Bert met and married Margie Morgan.
Bert volunteered at the Scottish Rite Hospital for children for over 10 years. He attended Park Cities Presbyterian Church serving in many roles and was a part of men's Bible study over the years where he developed many deep lasting friendships.
Bert is survived by brother Barry Ehrmann (Suzi), loving wife Marjorie, son Jeff, daughter Sheli Lindsay and her husband Tadd Lindsay Sr. He was dearly loved by his five grandchildren, Tadd Jr., Meagan, Hannah, Lyndsay and Ben and by his five great grandchildren Aiden, Emery, Lilah, Avery and James.
A memorial service will be held at Park Cities Presbyterian Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the charity of your choice.
