BETTIE WAS THE BEST BFF EVER. I SURE WILL MISS HER  BUT I KNOW HEAVEN IS SWEETER WITH HER THERE. I COULD WRITE A BOOK ON OUR FRIENDSHIP. BETTIE WAS AN EXCELLENT BASKET BALL PLAYER. SHE COULD OUT RUN THE WIND AND SHE WOULD RUN OFF AND LEAVE ME AFTER A BALL GAME IF WE HEARD A NOISE. WE WORE EACH OTHERS CLOTHES AND STAYED AT EACH OTHERS HOUSE. ALL THE TIME. THAT STARTED WHEN WE WERE ABOUT 12 YEARS OLD. NOW THAT IS OVER 60 YEARS AGO. NEVER A CROSS WORD.. SOMETIMES WE WENT TO CHURCH TWICE ON SUNDAY NIGHT. CHURCH OF CHRIST FIRSTTHEN THE ASSEMBLY OF GOD. IM SURPRISED WE DIDNT GET THROWN OUT BECAUSE WE MADE FACES AT WHO EVER SANG SPECIALS. ALL WE WANTED TO DO WAS HAVE FUN. NOW THIS IS WHAT HEAVEN MEANS TO ME WHEN WE MEET AGAIN. LOVE YOU BETTIE, GAIL

Bettie was my beloved sister in law. For as long I'll always remember and cherish her great sense of perseverance.   At fourteen I saw first hand my brother had no chance of not falling in love with her!  Her and my brother's greatest accomplishment was passing on Bettie's perseverance to their daughter Tracey.  God bless you, Tracey.

Tracey - I am sorry to learn of the death of your mother.  Thinking of you and your family during this time.

Great sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. Enjoyed chatting with her about Rangers, Cowboys and Mavs (her favorite ). Wish she could have made it a few more weeks to see Tracey walk down the aisle, but she will be with us in spirit.

Bettie was such a joy to visit with.  She always had an uplifting spirit and looked for the good in the people and circumstances of life.  Her loving and joyful spirit will be missed.
