Betty Jean Vines

Betty married Leon Vines May 1, 1947 in Dallas. They spent many wonderful years together before his passing. They were the proud, loving parents of their two daughters Linda and Phyllis

Betty enjoyed life to the fullest whether it was quilting, planting her flower beds or showing her love by cooking for you. She was the matriarch of the family always offering support, security and unconditional love. She had a way of always making you feel special. Betty was a classy lady and enjoyed doing her hair, makeup and dressing up as well. She enjoyed attending Church and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leon Vines, sister Marjorie Alice, brothers Marvin Wayne, Jim, Roy and parents Marvin and Elsie Gordon

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Linda Hutchins and Phyllis Cartwright both of Seagoville, grandchildren Chad Hutchins and wife Dianne, Hollie Hutchins and Husband Brett, Gabriel Hutchins and wife Crystal, Jason Cartwright, Rachael Cole, Timothy Cartwright, Daniel Cartwright and wife Heather, 13 Great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren along with numerous extended family and friends

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm Monday April 25, 2022 at Grove Hill Funeral Home 3920 Samuell Blvd Dallas,TX 75228. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 26, 2022 at 2 pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home followed by a committal service at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park 12649 Lake June Rd, alch Springs, TX 75180.
