Beverly graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas, Texas, in 1947. She married Virgle Pierce in 1949 and raised three children. She was a self‑taught artist whose passion for painting brought much joy to others who admired her work, many of whom she taught. Beverly always enjoyed creative expression, especially painting and sewing. She enjoyed fine arts, studying the Bible, playing games, and spending time with her family.
Beverly devoted her life to her children, pouring her energy, creativity, and love into helping each of them grow into who they were meant to be. She encouraged her oldest son to explore the arts, proudly supporting him as he danced in The Nutcracker. She nurtured her second son’s musical talents, cheering him on through years of band performances. For a full decade, she led her daughters’ Blue Bird and Camp Fire troop, creating a space filled with adventure, learning, and friendship. Beverly believed deeply in education and independence, always urging her children to pursue knowledge and make their own decisions with confidence and courage.
