Bill Bray

Bill Bray of University Park was born on August 23, 1943 in Keller, TX and passed away August 30, 2013 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lassie Bray of Lubbock and brother, Jim Bray also of Lubbock. Survived by his wife, Ann Bray of University Park; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Michael Hinojosa of Dimmitt, TX and son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Misti Bray of Lubbock; sister, Barbara Holley of Wylie, TX and nephew, Tommy Holley (Gloria). Bill is also survived by Ann's children and spouses, Becky Denhartog (Rocky), Hallie Carter (Darrin), Shelly Harrington, Marcus Fleming (Katie), Phillip Fleming, Jon Mark Fleming (Jeanne), Mallory Fleming Hammer (Brandt), Elaine Fleming Perusquia (Ernesto), and Rob Fleming (Missy). Ann and Bill shared 26 grandchildren. Bill attended Texas Tech University and served in the U.S. Army. Before settling in Dallas, Bill was a farmer and rancher in West Texas and enjoyed his second career at Strasburger & Price in Dallas. He was a lover of the outdoors, sharing his passion for fishing with his family and close friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel. He will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Baylor Heart & Vascular Hospital team for the tireless and loving care they provided Bill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baylor Healthcare System Foundation to benefit the Heart & Vascular Program.
