A resident of Dallas, she was born in Haynesville, La. on December 28, 1930 and passed away peacefully on December 17, 2011. She served in the United States Marine Corps from June, 1952 until October, 1954. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Joseph A. Kotrany. Billie was an active parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church where she also taught for a number of years. She was an avid bowler and loved her Texas Rangers baseball team. This loving mother will be remembered by her children: Anne Kotrany, Michael Kotrany and Mary Kotrany Sokol (Rick). She is also survived by grandchildren: Jeff Curl, Stephen Curl, Seaman Daniel Curl, AG3, Jennifer Curl and Jordan Kotrany; as well as great grandchildren: Madison and Logan Curl. Billie also will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, December 22, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with a rosary at 6PM. The funeral mass will be 10AM Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Rd. in Dallas. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
