passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.. He was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on February 16, 1930, his parents being Bryce George Phillips and Gladys Shields Phillips.
Billy was a newspaper pressman and worked for the Dallas Times Herald and other local newspapers.
He loved to be at home, work on cars and watch the TV news.
Survivors are his wife Margaret, children Karla Boling, Michael Phillips and Lisa Phillips; grandchildren Brandon Boling and Rachel Boling; sister Annette Black and her husband Hartwell; nephews Eddy Black and Philip Black.
Visitation at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home, Thursday, July 22, 2010, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 in the Chapel of Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home. Pastor Timothy Odom (Billy's brother-in-law) will be officiating.
Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
