Friends and family often remarked that he could tell you almost anything you wanted to know—or didn't know—about historical events and figures. He also enjoyed watching Jeopardy, loved Westerns, and never turned down a scoop of butter pecan ice cream.
Those who knew Billy will remember him as an exceptionally kind and thoughtful man. He was always a gentleman, known for his gracious manner, warm presence, and wonderful dancing. His generosity, wisdom, and quiet sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
