Blanche Lee Burr passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 85. Blanche was born March 18, 1926 in Kilgor, Texas to Oscar Powe and Mary Johnson Powe. Blanche and her husband Edward were longtime parishioners at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Edward Burr; son Gerry Burr; sisters, Lois Hamilton, Anne Gee and husband Jesse of Tyler, TX and Marie Johnson of Sacramento, CA and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Visitation and viewing will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home withe the recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, June 24, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 7617 Cortland Ave. Dallas, TX 75235. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
