Blentry and I first met in Junior High School at Neal Junior High in Bryan, Texas. We were both in the band; Bentry  played trumpet/coronet and I played clarinet.  We also shared the same initials (BN).  After graduation in 1974, we lost touch with each other.  I remember Blentry as a kind and giving person. 

My prayers are with you as I know she will truly be missed.  May you find peace knowing that your love one is resting in the arms of the savior and one sweet day you will all be together again.

I just want to say that I thank God for allowing this wonderful woman to be apart of  my life.  My home away from home . That the moment you entered her door you became he child. So thank you for  all the love, talks and encouragement over the years. Thanks for being my other  mother and Godgrandmother to  my kids.  Love you always

My deepest sympathies to Judy, Alice and family. Annie and I shared breaks and lunch at Region 10 so we covered many topics like our travels, recipes, aches and pains, our children, husbands and shared deep dark secrets. We were also close to the same age so our childhood memories came into discussion with lots of laughter!  From the first time we met we just had a special bond. She was truly a dear friend and I will miss her but we will meet again and pick up right where we left off. 

I knew your mom was the person I wanted to hire the minute I met her.  She endeared herself to me and many others here in Early Childhood Services, Region 10.  There are so many favorite moments with her in the 5 years she worked with us but one of my favorites is when we went to Clyde Warren Park and rode the trolley.  She had a ball and she and I got soaked from the storm getting to my car.  We laughed about that day just a few weeks ago, again!  There were also the times we had "heart to hearts" which drew us closer together.  We learned from each other.  We loved and respected each other.  I'll miss her being on this earth.
