

Bobby Dixon was born December 28, 1938 in Will Point, TX. He is survived by his wife at Fifty Two years, Reba Dixon two sons Glenn Dixon, wife Donelaine Dixon of Mesquite, TX. Charles Dixon of Richardson, TX, two grandson, Bobby Don Dixon, wife Jennifer Dixon of Royse City, Bryan Dixon of Magnolia, ARK, one granddaughter Ashley Dixon of Mesquite, TX. Two great granddaughters Oshin Dixon Royse City and Emma Dixon Royse City and adopted son Jose Humberto Torres. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Dixon, mother Oleta Dixon, one brother George Dixon. He is survived by four brothers, Dennis Dixon wife Peggy Dixon, R.L Dixon wife Rhenda Dixon, Larry Dixon wife Olga Dixon, Gerald Dixon wife Tammy Dixon, one sister Shirley Humphrey and many other family members and friends. He loved the outdoors and his place in Oklahoma, spending many hours fishing and working his land, he also loved working on automobiles especially with his grandchildren. Bobby was always smiling, happy and fun loving. He loved his family beyond measure and life. He was a member of Calvary East Baptist Church for over forty years. He and his family attended regularly as long as his health permitted. He coached little league baseball, football and basketball helping keep many youth on the straight path. He worked for Southland Life Insurance as a mechanical engineer for twenty five years before he retired. Bobby was a good Christian man who will be missed by many.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home-Chapel. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
