Bobby Ray Garrett

Bobby Ray Garrett, age 70, passed away on March 5, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on July 9, 1951 in Garland, Texas to his parents David and Gladys Marie Garrett. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bobby had one child.

In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed old stories, the Alamo, Texas History, and taking trips to look at bridges. He also loved cars and music from the 1960s. His family and friends will always remember Bobby as someone who was honest, caring, and straight-forward.

He is preceded in death by his parents David and Gladys; and sister, Debbie Vaughan. He is survived by his girlfriend, Sandy McIntosh; uncle, Jim Hogan of Cleburne; Uncle Eddie Hogan and wife, Shirley of Azle; and sister, Shirley Allen and husband, Bruce of Burleson; and long-time friends, David Frierson, David Reed, and Bill Yancy.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A committal service will occur Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
