

Bobby Glenn Vasher (Big Bob) was born on January 24,1957 to Inita and Audrey Vasher in Sulphur Springs, Texas and later moved to Dallas (Highland Hills). At an early age, he accepted Christ and was baptized at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Bobby graduated from Wilmer Hutchins High School in1975. Upon completing high school, Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army. His military service was a cornerstone of his identity, reflecting his dedication, courage, and commitment to protecting and uplifting others.
Bobby Vasher was a sports fanatic who loved the Dallas Cowboys. Bobby, also, found great joy in spending time with his family and friends. He was well known for his skills at spades and dominoes, often turning game nights into treasured memories filled with laughter and camaraderie. He had a natural ability to make others feel welcomed. His kindness touched the lives of many, whether through a warm smile, a helping hand, or a simple word of encouragement. Bobby “Big Bob” Vasher made people feel seen, valued, and loved.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Inita J. and Audrey Vasher. He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife of 21 years, Diane Vasher; his brother, David Vasher (Carla); godsister, Lynne White-Sanders (Rudy); daughters Talethia Dixon (Daniel), Dezaree Lusk (Hakeem), and Kayla Vasher; and his treasured grandchildren, TaDaija Dixon and Zion Lusk. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him deeply and carry his memory in their hearts.
Bobby Glen Vasher will be remembered with dignity, pride, and abiding love.
