

Brad Lindel Bell, 59, passed away at home in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, September 7, 2017. Brad was born March 27, 1958 in Greenville, Texas to Harold Lindel Bell and Helen Converse Bell. Brad was a Christian man who read the Bible faithfully. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
As a young boy, Brad’s father introduced him to deep sea fishing. Brad loved the challenge and excitement of fishing which he has also passed on to his son. Brad graduated from Skyline High School where he was an outstanding football player. He enjoyed all sports and working out at the gym, but he especially loved his team, the Dallas Cowboys. He was an avid fan of the Cowboys and when they played he was always in front of the television cheering them on.
Brad was a talented carpenter and painter. He learned those skills from his father who was an exceptional teacher. Brad owned a paint contracting business for several years which led to the opportunity to work for Southwest Airlines as a subcontractor. As Southwest expanded its services to new cities, Brad was contracted to paint several of the airline’s terminals. He ultimately obtained a full time position with Southwest Airlines in Grounds Operations at Dallas Love Field where he worked for many years.
Brad was a loving son, father and grandfather. He is survived by his mother, Helen Converse Bell, his children Crystal Bell-Freeland (Eddie), Natalie Bell-Key (Brad), Nicole Bell, and Brock Bell; four grandchildren Gavin Freeland, Calie Freeland, Logan Guzman and Connor Key; sister Sharon Stubbs (Johnny), and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Lindel Bell.
The family will receive visitors at Grove Hill Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Les Massey officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Greenville, Texas.
