Butterflies are attracted to flowers by three things: an array of beautiful colors, safe landing petals, and an abundance of nectar. Brandi wants us all to continue to be the flower that attracts butterflies with our beautiful smiles, our safe and warm hugs, and the sweetness that lives inside each of us. These special qualities are why we love Brandi, and why she loves us so deeply.
In Loving Memory of Brandi Lynell Clemons-Martin
June 2, 1981 – May 28, 2026
Brandi Lynell Clemons-Martin, 44, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026. Born on June 2, 1981, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Brandi was the beloved daughter of the late Larry Clemons and Glenda Clemons.
Brandi graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas, and later attended Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. Dedicated to personal growth and education, she had recently returned to college to pursue her bachelor’s degree. Brandi worked as a Member Services Representative with Navy Federal Credit Union, where her warm spirit, kindness, and genuine care for others made a lasting impression on both customers and coworkers. She formed many meaningful friendships there and was deeply appreciated by all who knew her.
Brandi was first married to Yukwan Saverio, and from that union came her two oldest children. She later met and married DeQuan Martin.
Above all else, Brandi devoted her life to her children, family, and loved ones. She was a loving and supportive mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and generous heart could brighten any room. Brandi had a gift for making everyone feel valued and loved. She possessed a deep and lifelong love for butterflies, finding immense joy in their beauty, grace, and free spirit. Whether she was listening to music, caring for her plants and fish, or simply spending time with family, she found joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments.
Family was the center of Brandi’s world. She carried the weight of caring for others with strength, grace, and without complaint. Her children were her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent making memories with them. Though she was the youngest sister, her siblings remained fiercely protective of her throughout her life. Even when she resisted their watchful love, she embraced the deep bond they shared.
Brandi also shared a special connection with her nieces and nephews, whom she adored beyond measure. She spoiled them with love, laughter, and attention, proudly serving as their “bestie” and biggest supporter. Brandi also shared an incredibly close and special relationship with her aunts, uncles, and cousins who were equally important to her. Brandi made it a priority to stay connected always calling, visiting, and checking in because family meant everything to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Glenda Clemons; her maternal grandmother, Kathryn Nunley; and her paternal grandparents, Sloke and Lottie Clemons.
She is survived by her five beloved children: Nickolas Saverio, Melani Saverio, William Fleming III, Breana Fleming, and A’Zariyah Colbert; her six devoted siblings: Pamela Barber (Mike), LaTonya Toney (Chris), Christopher Clemons, Larry Clemons, Emmanuel Clemons, and Randy Clemons; along with her treasured nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and countless friends who will miss her dearly.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Brandi’s love, kindness, and beautiful spirit will live on forever in the lives she touched.
"Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day."
