Lord you are so good to me, that I couldn’t even question why would you take my dad away! 
Daddy I love you with all my heart, and misses you so much. I remember the times I would come by the house, and we would talk I look over and your are sleep. lol. I miss you everything about you daddy! I miss the spoil moments I would have, when you wouldn’t give me my way! I LOVE YOU ALOT! I’m the baby girl and will NEVER understand this. 

"Big"Brian was a brother to me and his memory will always be cherished he left with me the knowledge of what a real father and family figure is to be! To the family love you'll and just know God has us all!

I send my deepest condolences to the entire family  praying for each and everyone of y’all  he was such a good person  I remember him telling me why do you wear all that horse hair in your head it don’t take all that boy my sisters my sisters I thanked him all the time for his advice gone but not ever forgotten 

Brian was a great person. He and his wife Yvette invited our business to help feed the homeless every Thanksgiving.  As a young family business owner of Syam Home Healthcare  Brian taught us how to return a favor of giving back to our community.  We partnership with Cafe Delicious in 2015 and were very excited to continue his community tradition yearly. He also invited The Xplosive Dance Company youth organization to partake in the community service project. These girls were so excited to participate in this event. 
Mr. Harp was a man who loved family and made sure we were full with love from his passion of cooking superb food with entertaining family and friends.  SYAM Home Healthcare and  The Mays family will miss Brian Harp dearly. We send our condolences to his wife  our cousin and to the entire Harp family.

Brian, I never knew you, but I thank you for the life you had in Dallas, TX, and the life you saved.

I am in awe of a beautiful life taken. 
I met Brian about 3 months ago when my fiance took me to taste the good soul food. I told Brian i appreciate how he has soul food without pork. I also told Brian that he just took the place of Sweet Georgia Brown. Not knowing he was killed, my fiance left out this afternoon to go pick up us a plate of dressing from Brians cafe. My fiance called in tears telling me that he was killed this past Wednesday. I had to hang up the phone because i was in disbelief. Brian i thank you for your sweet and warm personality and i am so sorry to your family that you were taken from the exact people that you served. The family is in my prayers and i am also praying for punishment for these killers. RIP Mr Brian Harp

I met Brian about 3yr ago when I stop in for a dinner.   The atmosphere was very relaxed and he made u feel at home.   I met a great friend there. Brian would always say one day he would be able to say-we met there and often came back to eat there. Hoping one day to host a wedding there. He was a little disappointed to find out that we didn't connect in that way. I will truly miss him .  Visions of him will always  make me smile. He is not gone however resting  without any earthly visitation however the memories I cherish in my heart. But I know my pain is not nearly the pain that the family is feeling and my prayer is that the memories can and do ease some of the hurt.   Brian I was looking forward to the comedy show on 9.28.   So true the saying never put off today for tomorrow.  May the caring, helping hand, warm welcome, your meekness  that u showed me and other speak for u on your crowning day.  Ms. Flo Flora Thompson

I am so saddened by Brian’s passing! I met him three years ago when my best friend and I stopped into check out his business.  He was quiet and kind at first but after a few visits he became quite the sparring partner.  He heckled me about my football team and I gave him the blues about his! I looked forward to our childish banter but it paled in comparison to the heart felt conversations that we exchanged about life, business, God, our respective families and good/bad choices in life! I will always cry when I think of him because he was like my Big Brother! May God bless and keep his family always! While I loved him for a short time... I can’t even imagine how you are feeling! You are all in my prayers! I never got a chance to sing for him but one day... It will happen just on the other side of Glory! Rest In Peace Big Brian!  You will be missed for sure...
