Brigitte Rae Jackson "Getta"

Ms. Brigitte Rae Jackson departed this life and went to rest on Tuesday September 16, 2025. She was born to the parentage of Sgt. James Albert Jackson and Ruby Rae Jackson on September 15, 1963, in Bamberg, Germany.

Brigitte accepted Christ at an early and united with Greater St. John Baptist church in Denver, Colorado. After graduating high school, she studied court reporting at Brown Mackie College in Salina, Kansas. She received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Brigitte worked for the General Services Administration (GSA), where she served as an asset management specialist for 33 years. She was a devoted to her work and her GSA collogues and friends.

On Tuesday, September 16,2025 at 2:30 pm, an angel ushered Brigitte into the arms of the Lord. Brigitte is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Rae Jackson; father, Sgt. James Albert Jackson; grandparents, Wilbert Williams and Lucy Williams, and niece, Kimoly Jackson.

Those she left behind to cherish her precious memories are her devoted and loving brother, Gary Andre Jackson (Dallas, Texas); sister, Cythia McCray (Lancaster, Texas); brother, Larry Jackson (South Carolina); nieces, Tiffany and Jasmine( Lancaster, Texas); uncle, Wilbert Williams (Spring, Texas); aunt, Rose Mary Nemons (Teague, Texas), and a host of cousins, other family members and dear friends.
