Camille Amine Hakim was born in Haifa, Palestine in September 1929. He was married to his wife, Haifa Hakim, for more than 60 years. Together they had four children, Fuad Hakim, Ramzi Hakim, Rima Hakim, and Rania Hakim.
Camille worked in the shipping industry in Saudi Arabia for a number of years before proudly immigrating to the United States and becoming a successful and respected restauranteur.
Camille was actively involved in giving back to the community and organizations including the US Air Force, Police Services, as well as the Greek Orthodox Church. He loved spending time with his family and loved ones telling stories, eating, and expressing his love of life.
Camille Hakim is survived by his wife, his three children, their spouses, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 am with family receiving friends from 10:00 am until time of service at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 13555 Hillcrest Rd, Dallas, TX 75240. Burial to follow service at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225.
