Camille Burge Taylor was born March 10, 1927 in Jackson, Mississippi. On December 27, 2015, Camille passed away in her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceeded in death by her loving husband, Spencer L. Taylor, daughter Linda Anne, and son, Spencer Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Taylor George (Hal), Diane DePoi and Barbara Taylor Widen, as well as four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Camille grew up in Jackson where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Spencer. They moved to Dallas in 1955 where her husband started his career with SEDCO.
They were active members of Walnut Hill Methodist Church where Camille taught Sunday School for 15 years. Camille enjoyed playing tennis and bridge, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was also a member of Dallas Women's Club, Dallas Garden Club, Daughter's of the American Revolution, Dallas Country Club and Dallas Petroleum Club.
Her family will deeply miss their "Mille" and all the love and faith she brought to her family.
Service at Walnut Hill Methodist Church Saturday, January 2nd, 2015 at 10:00 am. Following the service the family will attend a private burial at Restland.
