Candelario Ramirez, age 60, passed away September 8, 2020 in Cedar Hill, Texas. He was born February 2, 1960 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Andres and Filomena Ramirez. Cande was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Mountain View College and the University of Texas at Arlington.
He married Lorretta Brown and the couple had five children. He worked as a software engineer for several years. In his spare time he enjoyed coaching soccer, camping, fishing, cooking out for the family, religious education, prayer and passion for Christ.
His family and friends will always remember him as a devout Catholic, his humbleness, love for family, charitable heart, and playing Santa at our traditional family Christmas posada.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andres Ramirez and Filomena S Ramirez; sister, Rumalda Imperial; brother, Lorenzo Ramirez; and grandchild, Josephine. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorretta Ramirez; daughters, Christina, Valleri and Gabriella Ramirez; sons, Christopher and Joseph Ramirez; brothers, Miguel and Guadalupe Ramirez; sister, Teresa Trevino; and thirteen grandchildren.
Candelario worked as a CCD teacher. He also organized a baseball league for the Santa Clara Community. He was also a soccer coach for his children.
