Carl William Newquist III. Born December 10, 1953 in Omaha, Nebraska, passed away February 20, 2013 in Plano, Texas. Carl is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Naomi Newquist. Survivors include: son, Dustin William Newquist and wife Jennifer; daughter, Lindsey Ann Newquist; granddaughter, Emerson Elle Newquist; sisters, Sharon Mason and husband Stan, Karen Ross, Sandra Hurt and husband Mitchell, Tammy Paulson and husband Greg; numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman and world traveler. Carl loved water skiing, snow boarding, and was a certified scuba diver. He lived life to the fullest and will be missed. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 5:30 until 6:30 PM, with a service to begin at 6:30 PM, Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow.
