Carmen V. Gonzales Carmen was born July 16, 1945 to Jesus Fernando Vasquez and Santos Flores in Georgetown, Texas. She passed away April 9, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Carmen graduated from Georgetown High School in 1963. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, bingo games at Bingo Hall, reading, listing to music, dancing and singing. She was called the “Crazy Bird lady” because she loved birds and raised several of them. Carmen is preceded in death by: her parents, Jesus Fernando Vasquez & Santos Flores; Husband, Robert J Gonzales and Sister, Patsy V. Espinosa. She is survived by her Children, Jonathan Vasquez, Sandy Ann Morales, Johnny Lee Morales, Berna Morales, Dominique Morales Campos, Joe Gonzales Jr., Thomas A Gonzales, Timothy John Gonzales; Grandchildren, Tomas De Leon Jr., Joseph Hernandez, Reyna Hernandez, Julian Martinez Jr, Dominic I. Morales, Sabrina Morales-Mendoza, Brooke E. Meyer, Daniel Garza, Jewel K. Campos, Andrew D. Campos, Thomas Gonzales Jr., Precious A. Gonzales, Angelique Gonzales, Monique Gonzales, Destiny Gonzales, Samuel H. Gonzales, Brianna S. Gonzales; Great-Grandchildren, Damian Deleon, Aria Deleon, Tory D. Tyner Jr., Nadia D. Tyner, Aiden Garza, Monica J. Martinez, Julian Martinez III, Ivan Morales; Brothers, Jesus F. Vasquez Jr., Alberto F. Vasquez, Benito F. Vasquez & Romano R. Visitation will be held Thursday April 13, 2017 from 4:00PM till 8:00PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Please join the family for 11:00AM Funeral Service on Friday April 14, 2017 at Gonzalez Funeral Home.
