

Carol was a joy to be around and loved having a good time with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time at her restaurant, On the Border, and hanging out with her dog, Buddy, whom she loved dearly.
She graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, Texas, in 1971. For most of her life, Carol worked in the restaurant business. She tried several different careers throughout her life, but her heart was in waitressing. She was an amazing waitress and worked at Barbec’s Restaurant in Dallas for many years before spending the last several years working at Market Diner in Dallas. She was well loved and respected by her customers and coworkers.
Carol is survived by her three children: Nicholas Ryan House of Mesquite, Texas, Natalie Deanna Barnes of Forney, Texas, and Ashley Nicole West of Crandall, Texas; two sons-in-law, Brett Barnes and Chad West; three grandchildren, Drew Barnes, Shooter West, and Kaley West; and a number of relatives and close friends.
