Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Dallas.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Benton Delashaw and Evylin Delashaw; her husband, James R. Laney; a son, Sam Elkins; and a brother, Thomas Benton Delashaw III.
Carol leaves behind her loving daughter, Vickie Wilson; a stepson, Michael Laney and wife Karen; a granddaughter, Lauren Wilson; and a sister, Lee Farr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
