With heavy hearts and many cherished memories we say goodbye to our beloved mother, our precious MawMaw, and a treasured great-grandmother. She was the heart of our family, a source of love, comfort, and strength and one of the greatest blessings God gave us. Her life was rooted in a strong and unwavering faith in God. Although our hearts are broken, what a beautiful blessing to know that she is home with the Lord.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind three children, Phyllis (Keith) Bowdridge, Susan (Brad) Johnson, Phil (Patricia) Sanders, brother, Robert (Bobby) Brown, eight grandchildren Stephanie (Justin) Lampman, Christopher (Riley) Cook, Paige (Jeremy) Burton, Katie Johnson, Anita Ortegon, Martin Moreno, Joe Moreno, Hayden (Skyler) McGuire, Courtney (Waldo) Ruiz, and ten great-grandchildren, her precious companion & napping buddy yorkie Gracie, and many nieces & nephews. Being a mother was one of her greatest blessings, but being a MawMaw was a role she cherished. We were so blessed to be loved by her, and we will forever treasure the memories, the moments, and the love we shared.
Carol enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, attending her grandchildren’s activities and events, holidays with the family all together and a forced family game of Bingo at Christmas.
We find comfort in 2 Timothy 4: 7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. What a beautiful testimony to a life lived with faith, love and devotion to the Lord.
Rest peacefully sweet MawMaw. Thank you for loving us the way you did, for the prayers you lifted on our behalf, and for the beautiful legacy you leave behind. We are forever grateful that God chose us to be your family. You will be deeply missed and loved forever.
Until we meet again in Heaven, you will always be a part of us. We love you more than words could ever say, and we will carry you in our hearts until the day God brings us home to you.
