Cecilia "Cece" Hall Humbert

Cecilia was born on April 15, 1938 in Dallas,Texas, the oldest daughter of Dorothy and Bill Hall. Cecilia attended Christ the King, where she was May Queen of her 8th grade class. She attended Ursuline Academy of Dallas, where she graduated in 1957. Cecilia excelled in volleyball, basketball and will be remembered for her beauty and outgoing personality.

Cecilia married Leo Gales in November, 1957 and they had 2 sons. Jim was born in 1958 and Michael in 1960. She married Chuck Humbert in 1967 and their son Charlie was born in 1969, a day after her 31st birthday.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Bill Hall, and her oldest son Jim Gales. She is survived by her sons Michael Gales, Charlie and wife Kiersten Humbert; sisters Helen Glaser, Margaret Edwards and husband Jimmie; nieces Laura Glaser, Stephanie Castiglione and husband Dan; nephew Richard Glaser; grandsons Charlie and Nicholas Humbert.

A Celebration of Life for Cecilia will be held at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX 75244 on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Father Paul Deutsch, S.J. will officiate.
