A student of science, Charles left this world, after 88 years, and entered Eternity on December 2, 2010.
A Dallas native, he enjoyed domestic and international travel. His penchant for road trips inspired his family to explore large cities, small towns and Nature's beauty.
The son of a Dallas inventor and entrepreneur, he served his nation proudly in the Navy during World War II in The Philippines and Japan, aboard the U.S.S. Wasatch. Physics, chemistry and electricity were among his scholastic passions.
His wife preceded him in death. His two sons, one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren survive him.
Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, at Grove Hill Funeral Home, located at 3920 Samuell Blvd in Dallas.
His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, followed with his burial at Grove Hill Cemetery.
