Charles Joseph Boudreaux

Charles Joseph Boudreaux, the son of the late Percy and Lorraine Boudreaux, passed away peacefully in his North Dallas home of 57 years at the age of 90 surrounded by family. He was an extraordinary Husband, Father, Grandfather (Opa) and Great Grandfather who was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 46 years, Wilhelmina. He is survived by his 4 children, Caroline Lockey, Pamela Turpen, Francine Mariaux, Steven Boudreaux, 7 wonderful grandchildren and 3 precious great-grandchildren.

Born in Longview, TX on December 18,1935 where he played football for Longview Lobos High School team. After High School, he entered the United States Navy where he served active duty as a Petty officer 2nd Class/Radioman/Teleman from 1954 to 1958 and then Navy reserve from 1958 to 1962. While in active duty stationed in France, he attended a wedding in Paris where he met his beloved Wilhelmina from Holland, quickly falling in love and marrying in Paris on February 15, 1958. Charles brought his beautiful bride Wilhelmina back to the United States later that year returning to Longview TX. Charles then attended Kilgore College for 2yrs before moving to Denton TX where he attended the school of business and accounting at North Texas State University where he graduated at the top of his class and received the Haskin and Sells Foundation award as the top student in accounting and quickly passed his CPA exam. Entering the corporate world, Charles worked as the accountant for Steakley Bros Chevrolet in Dallas, chief auditor for Pete, Marick, Mitchell in Dallas, Vice President of finance for General Aluminum in Dallas and then spent 14 years working for Jimmy Dean Meat Company in Dallas as Vice President/Secretary/Controller. In 1986, Charles was then offered the job of Business Manager at his beloved Catholic Church since 1969 where he then faithfully served the St. Rita Catholic Parish in Dallas until 2009 when he fully retired. Charles approached every challenge with unmatched determination and with joy in his heart.

Beyond his career, Charles was devoted to his faith, beautiful wife and 4 children. His passions were traveling the world, owning thoroughbred racehorses and Las Vegas casino gambling.

Funeral Service to be held at St Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Rd., Dallas, TX on Wednesday July 8, 2026 at 11am. Burial services at Holly Tree Cemetery in East Texas will be held at a later date.
