Charles Turner, 76, of Dallas passed away and left his family for a better place on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at a senior living center in Dallas. He will always be remembered as a loving, father, grandfather, and friend to all that knew and loved him.
He was born in Electra, TX on August 22, 1939 to Charles and Blanche Piester Turner. He was a graduate of University of Texas where he earned a degree in architecture. He pursued a successful career in his chosen field for 50 plus years. He worked and managed firms in Dallas, Houston, Seattle, and Austin as well as completing projects in Saudi Arabia.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years Patricia. Survivors include his daughter Melissa Perez and her husband Al of Plano, TX; son Patrick Sullivan Turner; granddaughter Megan Claire Daugherty and many other relatives and friends. Charles was a true gentleman and will sorely missed by all of his family and best friend Carolyn Willard.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX with Rev. Georgia Orr officiating.
