Charles Raymond "Cokie" Woolbright was born July 18, 1928 in Dallas, Texas. He passed away October 13, 2013 in Mesquite, Texas. Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Woolbright; father, Cecil Woolbright, Sr.; brothers, Cecil Woolbright, Jr., James William Woolbright and his sister, Margie Rushton. He is survived by his brother, Lester Woolbright; sisters, Katherine Furrow, Frances Parker and husband, Bert; Linda Jackson and husband, Ronald; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Charles was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He served in WWII, Korean War, Vietnam and a Retired Chief Petty Officer of 21 years. He loved his country. He was always supportive and took cared of the members of his family in various ways throughout his life. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home-Chapel with burial following at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
