Charlotte Francis Grissom, 85 years of age, of Dallas, Texas passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on February 18, 1939, to Joe and Avis Pendleton. Charlotte was raised in Odessa, Texas where she graduated from Odessa High School in 1957. She married her soul mate on December 13, 1957, and had two children, Carl and Regina.
Charlotte was a business owner in Dallas for more than 24 years. She enjoyed flying planes with her husband, playing softball with her daughter on the church league, reading, and working puzzles. Charlotte will be remembered as a strong Christian woman, wife, mother, and grandmother.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years Carlton Grissom, parents Joe and Avis Pendleton, in-laws Orvil and Bonnie Grissom, brother Carl Ray Pendleton, and grandson Sean Ryan Stout. Left to cherish and honor her memory daughter Regina Hoy and husband Terry, son Carl Grissom and wife Kim, grandchildren Brittnee Stout, Bryan and Kyle Grissom, sister Shirley VanZandt along with brothers and sister in Christ and a host of friends who will miss her dearly.
