Charlotte Hardin, age 78, passed away on February 8, 2023, in Plano, Texas. She was born on January 25, 1945, in Dallas, Texas to Norma and Floyd Moore. Charlotte was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended/graduated from WW Samuell High School in 1963. She married Kenneth Hardin in 1967 and the couple had 4 children. She was an Administrative Assistant at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas Imaging Center where she worked for more than 12 years. She also was an Administrative Assistant at RESCO USA in Longview, Texas.
In her spare time, Charlotte enjoyed designing beautiful floral designs for all occasions. She was a lover of shopping and was often nicknamed a “shopaholic”. Traveling to see her children and grandchildren was always a highlight. She was a lifelong learner in her faith in God and enjoyed attending church and watching services on TV. She had friendships of more than 50 years and loved maintaining those relationships.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a beautiful woman of grace and dignity. With her exquisite taste, her children often referred to her as their “bougee” mother. Her empathy for her children was a true blessing while always being there when needed. Whether it was at the post office, grocery store, or a restaurant, her southern charm was apparent to all. She never met a stranger.
Charlotte is now in a place of joy and no pain. “Those we love don’t go away; they walk besides us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and forever dear.” – Unknown
