Christine "Sweetheart" Franklin

Christine Franklin, 61, passed away on November 4th, 2020. She was born on August 11, 1959 to Mike Alvarez and Ramona Aparicio Alvarez Harris in Mineral Wells, Texas. She married Rodney Franklin November 22, 1975. They had 4 children together, Christy, Jaime, Jason and Candice.

Most knew her as Sweetheart. She never met a stranger. She was loved by many. She loved taking pictures of her family, friends, nature, and food. She was very active. She enjoyed riding her bike and she loved to travel. She adored and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ramona Aparicio Alvarez Harris. Step-Father Jerry Harris of Clyde. Her parents-in-law, William and Kermit Franklin. Her brother-in-law, Lynn Franklin and her son-in-law Bryan Lee.

Christine leaves behind her beloved husband of 44 years, Rodney Franklin; daughter Christy Lee of Edom; son, Jaime Franklin of Mesquite; son Jason Franklin (Nichole) of Mesquite; daughter, Candice Phillips (Jonathan) of Garland; father, Mike Alvarez Jr. (Olga) of Devine; brother, Mike Alvarez III (Jenny) of Irving; sister, Dolores Everett (Bobby) of Clyde; step-sister, Maricruz Espinosa (Ernesto) of Baytown; step-sister, Joy Spurlin (Wayne) of Mineral Wells; step-brother, Jody of Mineral Wells; sister-in-law, Annette Wakefield (Ken) of Mesquite. Grandchildren, Kevin, Hannah and Emma Lee; Elijah and Chloe Franklin; Parker and Magnolia Phillips.

She loved as her own Tasha, Johnny, and Liam Caballero; Christian Gonzales; Cayden and Brayden France; Bella and Sofia Degelia; Claire and Kayla Martin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
