Christopher Fick

Our beloved brother, Christopher Michael “Chris” Fick, 63 of Frisco, Texas, passed away on February 16, 2023. Chris was born on September 8, 1959. He is survived by his sisters, Linda Fick Caruth, Denise Fick, Angela Fick Braly and Julie Fick; brothers-in-law John Caruth and Doug Braly; nephews and nieces Ian & Rosie, Erin & Tony, Clifford & Phayii, Sean & Brynn, Tyler, Matthew, Rachel, Bennett, Gray, Jonas, Mila and Leo. He was preceded in death by his beloved father and mother, Hubert J. “Bud” Fick and Sharon Stidham Fick.

Chris graduated from Richardson High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas. Chris enjoyed time with friends and family, his vegetable garden, caring for his fish and birds and frequent visits to community restaurants where he was known and loved. While Chris had been suffering from heart issues for several months, his final moments were spent peacefully surrounded by family.

A ceremony will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home at 10 am on Sunday, February 19, with the reception following. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association or the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
