Chris will be remembered as a devoted father to his only son, Matt, and for his quick wit, curious mind, and enduring love of conversation.
Chris was born on January 2nd, 1956 in Farnborough, England to Lawrence and Audrey Kelly. Chris attended Farnborough Grammar School and went on to Farnborough College before moving to the United States in 1985. Chris worked as a traveling salesman for various companies throughout his career. A former professional bodybuilder, Chris remained an avid fan of the sport long after his competitive days had passed. He was known for keeping an exceptionally tidy home and took pride in maintaining a sense of order and discipline in his daily life. Gregarious and intellectually curious, Chris was always ready for a conversation - whether about world history, current affairs, or anything in between. He had a deep appreciation for music and a lifelong love of soccer, a passion he shared with his son.
He is survived by his son, Matt Kelly, and daughter-in-law, Anna, of Dallas, Texas, as well as his brother, Michael Kelly, of Fleet, England. He was preceded in death by his parents. Chris will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park, where a private memorial service will be held.
