Christopher Brian Revell

September 13, 1974June 5, 2019

Christopher Brian Revell, age 44, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Wednesday June 5, 2019. He was born September 13, 1974 in Odessa, Texas to Bruce Revell and Kay Revell.

Chris graduated from Permian High School and continued his education, receiving a BA in Psychology from Texas Tech and his MBA from UT Arlington. He worked as a Project Manager in healthcare IT. Chris joined White Rock United Methodist on March 17, 2019 and was the drummer in the folk band there.

Chris was a foodie, and he loved trying new restaurants and cooking new dishes at home while dirtying way too many dishes! He also loved music, including playing the drums, trying to learn the guitar, going to concerts, and listening to his vast vinyl collection. Chris enjoyed drawing and meditation, and was happiest when spending time with his pets, California Bandit, Riley, and Katie. Chris also loved his time living near the ocean in Florida.

Chris is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Dick and Bettie Clark and brother, Richard Paul Revell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving fiancée, Jenny Hughes; parents, Bruce and Carol Ann Revell and Kay Revell; brother, Roger Revell and extended family members.

All those who grew to know and love Chris will forever remember the way he smiled from his eyes and his love for life. He has perfectly been described as “the coolest, most chill, funny, non-judgemental, and eclectic friend anyone could ever hope to know.”

A celebration of life for Christopher will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at White Rock United Methodist Chuch, 1450 Oldgate Ln, Dallas, Texas.

When Chris was younger, he and my son were best buddies. Because Chris' Mother was my best friend, I was privileged to watch Chris grow into manhood. I hadn't seen him in years, but enjoyed seeing what he was doing through Facebook. My prayers and all my love go out to Kay, Roger, & Nita Beth. May God wrap His arms around you and give you peace.

Chris Revell was a great guy that will be missed by all. He was a willing helper, he helped friends with moves to apartments and homes and also helped install a tree house, swing set with slide for his niece. Chris was a happy, friendly and easy going guy that will be missed by all who knew him. My sympathy to Chris’ family and fiancé.

I am very saddened to hear of Chris’ passing. I had some great times working with him on integration projects. I had recently noticed how extremely happy Chris’ posts on Facebook had been lately. You could really tell he was very happy and ready to be married. I’m so sorry that won’t happen now. I wish the very best to all of his family and loving friends. Rest easy my friend.

The last time I talked to Chris was the saturday before his death. His death has made me very sad, and my heart goes out to Jenny, and I am very sad that you never got to get married.

Chris, I want you to know that your niece misses you and hopes that you are ok wherever you are. I love you and miss you.

Chris won Jenny's heart, and with that, also won the hearts of our family. He was a man who embraced our sweet niece and showed her the meaning of true love. We wish we had had more time with Chris to create memories as a year wasn't nearly enough.

Jenny, we are here for you always. We love you,

Uncle Paul, Aunt Donna, Crysta and Tanner
