Born in Honey Grove, Texas, Clara Mae was the second eldest of five children born to William Roosevelt Auldridge and Annie Lee Auldridge. Known for her sweet spirit and joy for life, Clara Mae brought happiness to those around her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially the family and friends who were blessed to share in her life.
Clara Mae’s family asks that she be remembered not for the sadness of her passing, but for the joy she brought to others throughout her life. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, in the stories they share, and in the special moments they will forever treasure. Though her absence leaves a void, the love and happiness she gave so freely will never be forgotten.
Clara Mae is survived by her brother, Archie Auldridge; her sister, Peggy Garrett; her son, Randy Cromwell, and his wife, Jaqui; her grandchildren, Cullen, Donna, and Phillip; and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Roosevelt Auldridge and Annie Lee Auldridge; her sisters, Donnie Attaway and June Auldridge Fields; her husband, Arthur McNulty; her daughter, Teresa Henson; her nieces, Cynthia Attaway and Vicki Peffer; and her mother-in-law, Ruby McNulty.
A Celebration of Life honoring our beloved Clara Mae will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m.
Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary. Above all, the family hopes that those who knew and loved Clara Mae will honor her memory by remembering the joy she brought into their lives and carrying that joy forward in their own.
Loved deeply, missed dearly, and remembered always for the joy she brought to others.
