

Clara Hazel Ford was born January 8, 1923, in Neyland, Hunt County, Texas, and departed this life on June 24, 2014, in Mena, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Arlie Marvin Ford and Estell Steen Ford. Clara grew up in Hunt County and graduated from Campbell High School. After graduation, Clara moved to Dallas, where she met her future husband, Emmett H. Stuart. Emmett died in 1974, and Clara then married Everett G. Moles in October 1985. He also preceded her in death in 2003. Clara was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mildred Ford Beggs.
Clara worked for many years for Safeway, retiring in 1985. She enjoyed gardening and sewing, and she was a terrific cook. She was active in the PTA and served as a Boy Scout leader. She was a former officer of the Audie Murphy Post, Women’s Auxilliary of the Veterans of Foreign War
Clara is survived by her daughter Judy Baugus and husband Jimmie of Mena, Arkansas and son Aaron Stuart and wife Debbie of Forney, Texas, as well as five grandchildren: Steve Williams and wife Tina; Ronnie Williams and wife Christina; Sherry Baker; Annette Ives and husband Jimmy; and Melissa Stuart. She is also survived by her brother Billy Ray Ford and wife Norma Jean of Greenville, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and cousins.
Services will be held on Friday, June 27, at 2 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, with a 1 PM viewing preceding the service.
