Clarence E Barrett was born on July 13, 1939, in Caddo, Louisiana. He transitioned to eternity on December 26, 2020, in Dallas, Texas.
Clarence graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and went on to enjoy a career in the film processing industry. He was employed for over 30 years with Eastman Kodak where he later retired.
Clarence met the love of his life, Wilma White Barrett (proceeded him in death) in high school. The two married on Jan 12th 1963, Clarence was blessed to shine in the home as a husband, father in the life of four children, as a grandfather in the life of eight grandchildren and great grandfather in the life of seven great grandchildren.
Affectionately regarded as “CB”, “Hurk” & “Slim”, Clarence will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish precious memories include his sons Tony Barrett (Glynna), James Barrett (Rose), daughters Vickie Washington, Alexzandria Barrett, grandchildren Nikitta Barrett, Deneshecia Frazier (Antwon), James Barrett II (Destany), Demond Barrett, Victoria Gary, Heaven Washington, Emmanual Washington, Jarric Tucker II, great grandchildren Antwon Frazier (Clarence birthday twin), Aycen Frazier, Ethan Barrett, Jerell Norton, Hendrix Baccus, two sister-in-laws JoAnn Barrett & Carolyn Samples, one brother-in-law Dwight Lowery and a host of other relatives and friends.
