Claudette Jean Henry Ewing met her Savior face to face on Friday, July 1, 2016. Awaiting her was her beloved husband, Jerry Ewing, Sr. "Nonnie" was born to Willie Mae (Bell) and John D. Henry in Bowie, Texas on December 7, 1934. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School and attended Midwestern State University. She met Jerry, the love of her life, and they married on December 16, 1955. They adored their two children, Jan Ewing Cureton and Jerry Ewing, Jr. (Laurie) and their five grandchildren, Travis Cureton, Caliece Cureton, LT Spencer Ewing, USN, Bailey Ewing and Regan Ewing. The young family moved to Dallas in 1960, where Claudette supported Jerry in their growing business in the oilfield supply industry. She lived out her love for Christ as an active member and Bible teacher at Shiloh Terrace and First Baptist Church of Dallas. In addition to her husband, she was met in heaven by her parents; Jerry's parents, Nila (Knight) and Thomas Ewing; and her sisters, Peggi Hurley and Delores Stedham.
