Cleveland Moore was born in February 26, 1939 in Winona, TX to Cordie Mae Price and Edward C. Moore. He moved to Dallas, TX when he was 17 and became a graduate of James Madison High School class of 1958. He married his high school sweetheart, Doris Marie Mack shortly after graduating. He worked for Wolf Textile, Love Field Airport and General Motor Parts Plant in Dallas, TX retiring after 36 years of service. He attended East Field College earning an Associate’s Degree in Math. He did substitute teaching at J.N. Ervin elementary school in his neighborhood. He owned a landscaping business for several years.
He is preceded in Death by Edward C. Moore (Dad), Cordie Mae Price (Mother) and Gary Don Moore (Brother).
He joined in faith of the Roman Catholic Church at St. Peter the Apostle, Dallas, TX. In 1963. He became a member of HCCC in 1968 to the present day. He joined the Knight of Columbus Council 7017. He leaves to cherish his legacy to his loving wife of 60 years Doris Marie Moore, two sisters Bonita Dale Moore and Dr. Rosie L Burley-Hicks, three daughters, Sharon Moore, Sheritha Moore (Rodney), Kayla Moore, five grandchildren, Twyla Moore (Anthony), Le Amy McKnight, Sepeta Caston, Germany McDonald (Beniqua), Carlos Martinez Jr., nine great grandchildren, Kyler (Fred), M.J, Tamyra, Brayon, Mylah, Sypress, Tristan, Ayden, Kameron and two great great grandchildren Egypt, Kyng and a host of other relatives.
